We are currently looking for a Product Lifecycle Manager DSLR. As the Product Lifecycle Manager for Nikon DSLR Cameras you will have a prestigious and highly visible role within Nikon, a world-renowned company in the photographic industry.
You will be responsible for the development, management and execution of marketing programs and strategies designed to grow sales of DSLR Cameras. Develop and monitor marketing programs for optimization of the product line to maximize sales and profitability. You will evaluate market opportunities as well as measure and analyze competitive threats to existing and new businesses and make appropriate recommendations. You will develop, manage and execute marketing programs and strategies designed to grow sales of professional DSLR systems. Track and manage promotional expenditures and recommend product forecast changes. Work closely with the sales team to understand account strategy, propose product lineup, manage account level P&L and product returns. Overall you will be responsible for the management of product lifecycle activities through end of life.
This is a key position in a world-renowned company in the photographic industry. Not only do you know DSLRs inside and out from a product level but you know the mind, buying habits and needs of professional photographers. You also know how the overall professional photographic market is now and how it is changing. You have a passion for our brand and an extensive DSLR product background, but also a solid understanding of marketing.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications along with at least 4 years product brand management and 4 years experience in digital imaging, especially DSLR. Excellent knowledge of Nikon Imaging and competition product lines, particularly DSLR along with excellent verbal and written communication and excellent presentation skills are essential to the success of this role. Candidate must also have the ability to travel up to 20% (includes overnight travel).
